About the Roles
As a Production Worker or Paper Machine Operator, you’ll be a crucial part of our pulp and paper operations, focusing on either recycled or Kraft paper production. Reporting to the Production Manager, your role will involve:
- Operating and monitoring machines and plant equipment within the paper mill.
- Supporting processes such as stock preparation, winding, finishing, and quality control.
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring optimal plant performance.
- Maintaining high safety standards and adhering to operational procedures.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for individuals with:
- A background in operating Paper machinery & working in production environments.
- Previous experience in a pulp and paper mill (Kraft or Recycled)
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- A proactive approach to teamwork, safety, and achieving production targets.
- Willingness to work in physically demanding environments with heat, noise, and rotating shifts.
- Completion of Year 12 or a Trade Certificate is advantageous.
