Glama Pak is an industry leading litho-laminate packaging and point of sale display manufacturing company. The Role:
Visy Glama is currently seeking a trade qualified A Grade Maintenance Electrician in Wodonga. As an integral part of the maintenance team, the work will involve site preventative maintenance, breakdown attendance, fault finding and other trade-based duties as required. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of our reliability team, supporting our production team covering operational requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Repair and maintain all equipment to a consistent and high standard to ensure minimal downtime.
- Support production to achieve their output targets and ensure there are no issues with plant and equipment.
- Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime.
- Assist in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs of machinery.
- Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines
- Periodically inspect systems and recommend fixes or replacement strategies appropriate to the situation, avoiding costly breakdowns.
- Ensure housekeeping and maintenance of the work area is always to plant standards.
- Troubleshooting/setting of all equipment on site.
- Update and maintain data records on work carried out.
- Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- A Grade Electrical qualification
- Industrial background and experience
- PLC experience in with Siemens and or Allen Bradley (desirable)
- Self-motivation and proactive approach
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Proven track record
- Understanding of safety and quality
- Mechanical/Electrical fault finding, Diagnosis and repairs.
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Working within a team environment and autonomously
