The Opportunity
Reporting to the Northern Sales Manager, this full-time role sits within our Visy Specialties division and focuses on expanding our market presence across the Northern Sydney region. You’ll manage and grow an established portfolio while actively driving new business through strategic prospecting and solution selling. Working collaboratively with the wider sales team and key internal stakeholders, you’ll nurture long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities to deliver value-added packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Retain and grow existing accounts while building new customer relationships within the specialties packaging sector.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, including accurate forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce.
- Identify process improvements for both Visy and customer operations to enhance value and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally within packaging, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to uncover opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
