Looking for a career with balance, growth, and purpose? This is your chance to join Visy’s world-class Pulp & Paper Mill in Tumut, NSW. We’re looking for a Laboratory Technician to help keep our production running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
The primary responsibilities of this role are the physical and chemical testing of mill samples for the purposes of process monitoring and control and final product quality control in the 24-hour laboratory. You will also:
• Test pulp, paper, and chemical samples to ensure top-quality production
• Safely manage unloading and transfer of bulk chemicals
• Support day crew operations, sampling, and analyser checks
• Keep things running smoothly by maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards
• General lab support, housekeeping, and inspections
What You’ll Bring
• A qualification in Chemistry or Science (a bonus, but not essential)
• Experience in a manufacturing or lab environment
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn hands-on skills
• Strong attention to detail and great communication
• A focus on safety and teamwork
