Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will be permanent full time working rotating day and afternoon shift with our busy production team in Campbellfield.
What You Will Do:
- Operating print presses safely and efficiently – maxmising speed and quality whilst minimising downtime.
- Leading Printer Assistants to ensure they meet or exceed production standards for output and set up allowance.
- Communicate issues that arise during and between shifts.
- Engage in and promote continuous improvement.
- Housekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team.
- Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Qualified Printer with 3+ years’ experience working with flexographic press printing.
- Trade Certificate in Printing.
- Have strong people skills (clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork, and collaboration),
- The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in strong colour and quality control.
- Most importantly is your attitude, you will be performance driven, be adaptable to changes in the workplace and be keen to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain safe working practices adhering to safety policies and procedures.
