Account Manager - Beverage Can

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role manages a portfolio of key customer accounts within Visy’s Beverage Can division. You will own the end-to-end account lifecycle including commercial agreements, pricing, forecasting and ongoing customer management. The focus is on balancing customer demand with production capability to deliver strong service, margin and growth outcomes. Working closely with Planning, NPD and Operations, you will ensure new product launches and customer campaigns are delivered on time and in full, while also identifying new business opportunities within the beverage market. This is a fast-paced commercial role suited to someone who can manage complexity, build strong customer relationships and deliver outcomes in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage key customer accounts including pricing, contracts and commercial activity
• Coordinate forecasting, ordering and supply alignment with production teams
• Oversee NPD onboarding including artwork, specifications and production readiness
• Ensure campaign delivery requirements are met including approvals and timelines
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within the beverage market
• Maintain an active pipeline across existing and prospective accounts
• Act as first point of contact for customer enquiries and issue resolution
• Ensure contract compliance including Minimum Order Quantity, stock levels and delivery terms
• Manage escalations and mitigate risks impacting supply and customer outcomes

What You Will Bring

• Experience in account management or sales within manufacturing, packaging or FMCG
• Strong commercial capability across pricing, contracts and margin management
• Experience in forecasting, supply coordination or order management
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
