Role Details:
As the Finance Manager USA, you will take ownership of finance for Visy Logistics in the United States, supporting a growing business with strong expansion plans. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll partner closely with leadership and operational teams to drive financial performance, improve processes, and support commercial decision making. You will play a key role in bridging finance and operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful insights to support business growth.
What you'll do:
- Manage financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for the U.S. logistics business
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Drive process and system improvements across finance and operations
- Monitor business performance, including revenue, margins, and cost efficiency
- Support commercial activities through contract review, pricing analysis, and profitability insights
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, reporting standards, and U.S. statutory requirements
What you will bring to the team:
- CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent)
- 10+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, or commercial finance roles
- Experience with Cargowise software
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environments
- Proven ability to manage reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a dynamic environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
