About the opportunity:

As a Fitter Operator, you’ll run production machines and equipment to keep the line operating safely and smoothly. You’ll also use your trade skills to maintain, repair and improve plant machinery, ensuring reliable performance and minimal downtime.

• Rotating Shift: 12‑hour shifts on a 3‑week rotating roster (5.5‑day week)

What you’ll do:

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery and equipment as part of daily responsibilities within production operations
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruptions and improve efficiency

What You Will Bring: 

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Forklift license (desirable)
