About the opportunity:

We're looking for a hands-on Forklift Technician to join our growing service team based at Gibson Island. In this field-based role, you'll maintain, repair and service a diverse fleet of forklifts, EWPs and mobile plant equipment across Visy sites throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

• Monday to Friday roster with overtime opportunities
• Vehicle + mobile phone supplied

What you'll do:

• Service, repair and maintain forklifts, EWPs and mobile plant equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance
• Complete service reports and accurately record parts usage
• Maintain high safety standards across all work activities
• Travel between Visy sites across Brisbane and the Gold Coast as required

What You Will Bring:

• Mechanical trade qualification
• Hands-on experience with forklifts, EWPs and/or mobile plant equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a field service environment
• Current driver’s licence
