As our Glass division continues to grow, we're seeking experienced HC Drivers to join our brand-new operation in Yatala. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing team, operating modern equipment while delivering exceptional service to our customers across Southeast Queensland

Location: Yatala, QLD
Routes: Regular routes include local and regional deliveries to various customer sites across the Yatala and the Brisbane metro region.
Shifts: Both AM & PM Shifts available

What you’ll do:

• Safely operate and manage a Semi combination classed vehicle
• Secure Freight: Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure safe transportation.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to confirm roadworthiness and compliance.
• Timely Deliveries: Ensure efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules.
• Accurate Reporting: Complete electronic reporting systems and required documentation accurately.
• Regulatory Compliance: Follow all company policies and state/national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws. 

What you’ll bring:

• Current HC or MC license with minimum 2 years’ Australian driving experience
• Proven experience operating Single combinations
• Strong understanding of load restraint guidelines (steel experience preferred but not essential)
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
