Visy Food Can is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Yatala team. This is an ongoing casual opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role.

About the Role

• Rotating Day Shifts: 6:00am – 6:00pm
• Monday to Friday only roster
• Working 3 days one week and 4 days the next
• Overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-speed production machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic mechanical adjustments.
• Conduct quality inspections and defect analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Minimise downtime through proactive problem-solving.
• Complete production and maintenance records accurately.

About You

• Previous machine operating experience in a high-speed FMCG environment.
• Experience within food, beverage, packaging, or manufacturing industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong focus on workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Forklift License highly regarded.
