As a Maintenance Fitter at our rPlastics facility, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.

• Shift details: Monday to Friday, day shift (6am to 2pm)
• Pay rate: $50.00 per hour + OT 

What you will do:

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery 
• Install and upgrade mechanical systems and equipment 
• Keep accurate maintenance records in line with quality standards 
• Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient, transparent and deliver required results.
• Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted 
• Monitoring all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.

What you will bring to the team:

• Recognised trade qualification (Fitter)
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• ‘Hands on’ Practical experience in a maintenance environment
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Forklift license desirable
