About the opportunity:

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving our fixed plant and equipment throughout the glass materials recovery facility (MRF).

• Shift Details: This role operates on an 8‑hour Day Shift from Monday to Friday plus opportunity for overtime on Saturdays
• Pay details: $48.77p/hr + OT

 What you’ll do:

• Preventative maintenance tasks and continuous improvement projects
• Mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response across site equipment
• Welding, fabrication and boilermaking repairs as needed
• Assisting with planning and prioritising daily maintenance activities
• Supporting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with site procedures
• Contributing to plant upgrades and reliability improvements

What You Will Bring: 

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Dogman ticket (highly desirable)
• Forklift License (highly desirable)
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
