About the opportunity:

Working within our Gepps Cross board manufacturing plant, you'll learn from experienced tradespeople while contributing to the maintenance and reliability of industry-leading equipment. 

What you will learn:

• Complete a 4-year Mechanical Fitting Apprenticeship in an FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing environment.
• Gain hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing high-speed production equipment while studying towards your trade qualification.
• Work alongside experienced tradespeople and develop skills across conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and automated manufacturing systems.
• Graduate as a qualified Mechanical Fitter with practical experience on world-class manufacturing equipment and strong career pathways within the business.

What we are looking for

• Completed Year 12 (or equivalent)
• Genuine interest in mechanical maintenance and manufacturing
• Mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to learning
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
