Role details:  
We’re seeking a Mechanical Apprentice to join our Gepps Cross Board Plant. This is a full-time Fixed-term role on a day shift 6 am – 2.30 pm with overtime available. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely. 

What you’ll do: 

• Working under the supervision of qualified Fitters to complete routine maintenance tasks.
• Attending TAFE and completing coursework to complete your apprenticeship.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing. 

What you’ll bring: 

• Any level of experience, from 1st year through to 3rd year.
• Mechanically minded and interested in hands-on tasks.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a bonus.
• Passion for your trade and willingness to learn.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
