About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager - Food Can, this role leads the national quality, food safety and compliance strategy across Visy’s Food Can network. You will ensure consistent product quality that meets customer, regulatory and internal standards.

Working across multiple sites, you’ll partner with operations, technical teams and customers to drive structured problem solving, continuous improvement and standardised quality systems. This role is key to strengthening customer relationships and improving overall manufacturing performance.

There is future opportunity to lead a national quality team, including site-based Quality Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead national quality, food safety and compliance across Food Can network
• Act as key customer quality interface for audits, complaints and technical support
• Ensure compliance with FSSC22000, HACCP, ISO and regulatory standards
• Standardise quality systems and Change Management
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions across sites and customers
• Use data and reporting to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality performance
• Support value engineering and technical problem solving with customers and teams
• Coach and support site quality teams
• Drive consistency and alignment across multiple sites

What You Will Bring

• Senior Quality Leadership experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of FSSC22000, HACCP and ISO systems
• Experience in customer engagement and technical relationship management
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action capability
• Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance
• Strong data analysis and reporting capability
• Proven continuous improvement delivery in manufacturing environments
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple sites
• Ability to influence, coach and develop teams
