The Opportunity

Based in Coolaroo and reporting to the State Product Manager, you'll design innovative corrugated packaging solutions that support customers and manufacturing operations across Victoria. Working closely with Sales, Production and Customer Service teams, you'll create practical, cost-effective designs that improve efficiency, reduce waste and deliver outstanding customer outcomes. With full training provided, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in packaging design with an industry leader.

What You'll Do

• Design innovative corrugated packaging from customer briefs.
• Create solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity and material utilisation.
• Prepare quotations, samples and design documentation within agreed timeframes.
• Provide technical design support to Sales, Production and Customer Service teams.
• Process design amendments, NCRs and credits as required.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver practical packaging solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across design and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

What You'll Bring

• Experience using CAD software (Artios CAD or similar preferred).
• Engineering, Industrial Design or related qualification is advantageous.
• Packaging, manufacturing or flexographic printing experience is highly regarded.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
