The Opportunity
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager will lead the site production team at our Somerton rPET facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving performance across safety, people, quality, cost and productivity. You’ll lead a team of 3 Shift Supervisors and 1 Logistics Supervisor across a 24/5 operation, ensuring efficient processing of product to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead production to deliver safety, quality, cost and output targets
• Translate business goals into clear team and line targets
• Drive safe work practices, compliance and risk management
• Manage production budgets and cost performance
• Coach and develop teams to lift capability and engagement
• Drive continuous improvement and RCA-led problem solving
• Maintain SOPs, 5S, visual management and reporting standards
• Partner with Logistics to ensure smooth material flow and delivery

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive experience in production leadership within manufacturing
• Strong background leading teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Proven experience driving safety, quality and operational performance
• Strong coaching and people development capability
• Experience in continuous improvement, lean and problem solving (RCA)
• Commercial awareness with experience managing cost and budgets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
