Role Details: 

As the Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of Visy Global Trading, Procurement and Supply Chain. Partnering closely with Commercial and Operational leaders, you'll provide financial insights, analysis and reporting that drive informed business decisions across a diverse portfolio. You'll also lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting and financial control activities while identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and business performance. 

Based at Essendon Fields, you'll join a collaborative team and work with senior stakeholders across the business to influence outcomes and support strategic decision-making 

What You’ll Do: 

• Partner with Procurement, Commercial and Operational teams to provide financial insights that support business performance and commercial decision-making.  

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting activities across multiple business units, ensuring timely and accurate financial outcomes.  

• Deliver meaningful financial analysis, reporting and modelling to support strategic planning and identify performance improvement opportunities.  

• Manage financial control activities including balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany recharges and key finance processes across the Procurement portfolio.  

• Provide financial oversight and support for Allpak Hong Kong, including payroll, bookkeeping and statutory financial requirements.  

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial controls, streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. 

What You Will Bring: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA qualification (or currently working towards completion).  

• Proven experience in management accounting, commercial finance or a related accounting role.  

• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.  

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis.  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.  

• A proactive, continuous improvement mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
