Role details:
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our Shepparton Food Can site. This is a full-time permanent career role.

• Days Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
• 40hour weeks (with 4 hours banked RDO time)
• Saturdays and Sundays available at penalty rates 

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll do:

• Diagnose and fix problems with components, Alan Bradley PLCs, wiring and equipment throughout the plant.
• Involvement in upgrades to electrical systems and completing overhauls of equipment as required.
• Perform routine electrical checks and attend breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Complete daily work orders – we use Ampro system

What you’ll bring:

• Electrical trade qualification with an open A grade VIC electrical licence.
• Experience in Alan Bradley PLC control system, automation diagnostics and fault finding
• Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in fast-paced manufacturing environments – ideally in the food space
• Working alongside the production team to resolve issues.
• Passion for continuous improvement and optimisation.
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to safety.
