Mechanical Fitter – Casual Maintenance Team

Locations: Carole Park, Yatala & Hemmant

About the Opportunity

As a key member of our Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in supporting plant performance across our sites in Carole Park, Yatala and Hemmant. Working closely with Production and Engineering teams, you will help minimise downtime, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards.

This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Fitter seeking consistent weekend work, with a focus on proactive maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Shift Requirements

• Availability to work weekends on a rotating roster
• Scheduled for at least one day each weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Day Shift: Commencing between 5:00am – 6:00am
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites is essential

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise disruptions
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across site operations

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
• Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work across multiple sites
