Description:
Visy is a leader in sustainable packaging and paper solutions. We are seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Pulp & Paper team in Reservoir, Victoria. This role focuses on driving plant reliability, minimizing downtime, optimising maintenance and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Details:
Based in Reservoir, reporting to the Reliability Manager, you will enhance plant efficiency, manage execution of mechanical maintenance, support backlog and spares management, shutdown planning and maintenance initiatives, and support small to medium capital projects, all while upholding Visy’s safety and environmental standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Maximise OEE through optimising equipment reliability
- Lead preventative maintenance, drive excellence in maintenance practices and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
- Coordinate plant shutdowns, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to meet safety standards.
- Enhance maintenance practice and procedures using preventative and predictive tools.
- Manage external suppliers engaged in mechanical maintenance services or product supply.
- Hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting supporting Production and Mechanical trades
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years’ experience in reliability engineering (Pulp & Paper preferred).
- Hands-on approach with strong analytical skills.
- CMMS and project experience a plus.
