Role Details:
Location: Dandenong, Victoria
Reporting To: Operations Manager – Visy Board Dandenong
In this role, you will manage all aspects of logistics operations, including inbound and outbound freight, inventory control, 3PL stock management, and warehouse operations. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring compliance, achieving performance KPIs, and delivering exceptional customer service outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Manage inbound/outbound freight and warehouse operations to optimize performance and costs.
- Oversee inventory and 3PL stock management systems, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Achieve customer delivery expectations with DIFOT > 95%.
- Lead, develop, and mentor your team to meet safety, compliance, and operational targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to COR, legislative, and HSE requirements.
- Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders for effective issue resolution.
What You Will Bring:
- A strong background in logistics and supply chain management, ideally with 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management and compliance within COR and HSE frameworks.
- Experience with budget management, cost forecasting, and achieving KPIs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to guide a team effectively.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
