The opportunity:
We are seeking a Forklift / Mobile Plant Technician to join our Visy Logistics team based out of our Coolaroo site. This is a full-time permanent role on a Day shift Monday - Friday, 7am to 3.30pm with opportunity for overtime.
Reporting to the Service Manager at our Coolaroo Workshop, you will play a significant part in the company’s overall success by delivering quality service, performing scheduled maintenance and safety & function checks to our forklift and mobile plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain and service our mobile machinery across our Coolaroo and Northern Suburbs sites.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics tasks.
- Attend to machinery breakdowns and completing scheduled maintenance.
- Recording jobs completed and parts consumed, to ensure accurate inventory.
- Strong sense of safety awareness and ensuring all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures are complied with.
What you will bring to the team:
- Automotive qualifications in either heavy or light.
- Forklift (Preferred), Mobile plant or Trailer repairs and servicing experience.
- Drivers licence essential for the use of a work vehicle.
- Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills.
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
- Maintain and uphold company’s safety policies and procedures.
