About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 6am – 2pm with overtime available. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
- Working within the Workshop on machinery overhauls and assisting with tooling changeovers on the production line.
- Contribute to project work, including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, working to tight tolerances and precision.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
What You’ll Bring
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
- Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments.
- Precision fitting experience and knowledge, working to microns.
- Passion for your trade and commitment to improvements.
