At Visy, we love solving problems. And that’s something we do better working together. We’re looking for a results-driven and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations at our state-of-the-art Truganina manufacturing facility.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver excellence in safety, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will oversee all aspects of preventative and reactive maintenance, cost control, and service delivery, while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and team development.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the Maintenance team to achieve site safety, quality, production, and cost objectives.
- Oversee all preventative and reactive maintenance practices across the facility.
- Manage budgets, labour, and R&M spend to meet financial targets.
- Drive HSE compliance and champion a safety-first culture.
- Ensure plant reliability through effective maintenance systems and continuous improvement.
- Lead staff recruitment, development, and succession planning.
- Manage capital projects, equipment installations, and contractor performance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver optimal operational outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership in maintenance management within manufacturing.
- Strong HSE knowledge and a commitment to safe work practices.
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and industrial relations matters.
- Ability to lead change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in engineering or a related field.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
