As a Mechanical Fitter at Visy, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.
- Perform planned maintenance using CMMS systems.
- Monitor plant performance and ensure operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot issues.
- Carry out fabrication and welding tasks as required.
- Plant to compliant, relevant OHS&E legislation.
- Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted and issues arising from these audits to be rectified in a timely manner and documented to ensure zero non-conformance.
What you will bring to the team:
- Trade qualified
- Proven experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift license (essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have own tools.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
