Role Details:
Join Visy in a pivotal role managing procurement for major capital projects. You’ll lead sourcing strategies, negotiate high-value contracts, and build strong supplier networks to deliver cost-effective outcomes. Ensure compliance with procurement policies while partnering with project teams and stakeholders to drive success.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for capital projects
- Lead tender and RFP processes, manage evaluations, and negotiate with suppliers
- Drive cost-effective solutions aligned with project objectives
- Build and maintain a strong supplier network for ongoing capital works
- Ensure compliance with vendor selection, contracting, and pricing standards
- Support project teams with commercial and compliance requirements
- Act as the key contact for capital-related contracts and stakeholder communication
What You Will Bring:
- Extensive experience in procurement and sourcing, ideally within capital works projects
- Strong understanding of building and construction contracting methods
- Proven ability in negotiating, drafting, and executing contracts for capital works
Desirable:
- A degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Experience in project management or planning
- Background in the building industry
