The opportunity:
We have recently identified the need for a Night Shift at our Warwick Farm site and are currently seeking a number of experienced Manufacturing Machine Operators to join the team.
Our Night Shift pattern will be Monday to Thursday, 10pm – 6am and Friday being a 4pm – 9pm shift and is due to commence in January 2025.
However, we would like to fill these roles now to enable training on Day Shift and/or Afternoon Shift, until the Night Shift commences. Currently our Day Shift is 6am – 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am – 11am on a Friday, and our Afternoon Shift is 2pm – 10pm Monday to Thursday and 11am – 4pm on Friday.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and the team
- Operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging
- Assist with job changes and associated tasks
- Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
- Housekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team
What you will bring to the team:
- To be successful in this role you will have to be able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.
- You will be fit and healthy.
- Have strong interpersonal skills (clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork and collaboration),
- The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.
- Most importantly is your attitude, you’ll be performance driven, be adaptable to changes in the workplace and be keen to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.
- You’ll ideally have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and hands on experience operating machines.
