We are currently looking for a Business Controller to join the Logistics team in Auckland. Based at our Glass site in Penrose, this role is full time permanent.
Reporting to the National Inventory and Systems Manager, you will support all facets of the Glass Logistics portfolio, which includes being the key link for NZ Visy Logistics and NZ Visy Glass business. The role requires an in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand Supply Chain and will be responsible for managing cost, driving efficiency and implementing the logistics strategy in line with wider Visy Logistics and Glass business Strategy.
In addition to having a good personality and being a great team player, you will be an excellent collaborative communicator and have strong relationship building skills. This will support you in executing the role as the internal logistics service point of contact to various functions of the Glass business (Quality, Finance, Procurement, Safety, Customer Service, Planning, Sales, Manufacturing). You will bring a high level of attention to detail and exceptional Microsoft Excel skills, as well an ability to carry out UAT/Implementation testing.
Your demonstrated experience in PO Management, invoice reconciliation and forecasting/budgeting, as well as being familiar with SAP S4 HANA, will set you up for success in this role.
