There is an opportunity available at the Visy Glass Spotswood Plant for the role of Shift Dual Trade. This is a diverse and varied role where you will be working closely with the maintenance team on scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the General Maintenance Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Attending to breakdowns
- Troubleshooting & performing repairs to machines associated to the bottle making process
- Proactive approach in reporting and identifying hazards
- Utilising SAP for data collection and analysis of maintenance information
- This is a permanent role, working 35 hours a week on an 8hr 24/7 five-week roster
- Rotating day, afternoon and night
- Competitive rates $59.42 per hour + 15% Shift loading
What you will bring to the team:
- To be qualified for this role, the incumbent will need the following skillsets & experiences:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
- Victorian A-grade electrical license
- Significant experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing
- A background in fault finding with PLC’s and Motor Controls.
- A strong commitment to safety & quality (LOTO, JSEA’s)
- Previous experience using SAP Plant Maintenance
