Visy Logistics is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Warehouse & Operations Supervisor to ensure smooth warehousing and transport processes. You will be responsible for ensuring people and equipment are efficient and distribution activities are performed safely, cost-effectively and in accordance with customer expectations. The ideal candidate will take charge of planning, team leadership, and driving continuous improvement across the site. What You Will Do:
- Team Leadership: Oversee day to day operations, supervising and motivating a team of 12, driving performance and meeting KPIs
- Operational Planning: Ensure labour coverage aligns with budgets, delivery schedules, and SLAs
- Process Improvement: Develop and execute strategies to optimize warehouse & production operations
- Audits & Reporting: Assist with audits, findings, and provide actionable recommendations to close gaps
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with production, customer service, and other operations teams to meet deadlines and handle urgent requests
- Accurate Recordkeeping: Maintain meticulous records to support client invoicing and employee payments
- Incident Management: Investigate service failures, loss, or damage and implement preventive measures
- Budget Oversight: Manage operational expenses and wages within budget
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a Warehouse or Logistics environment is a must
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role
- Strong data reporting and analytical skills with a commercial focus
- Proven ability to balance commercial, operational, and functional needs
- Customer-focused and process-driven mindset
- Available for 24/7 operational and emergency contact, with occasional weekend work required
