Join our dynamic team at Newcastle, a leading manufacturer of corrugated cardboard packaging. As a Process Worker, over time you will learn all aspects of the carton manufacturing process. Your main duties will include, but not limited to:
- Loading raw materials, such as sheets of corrugated board, into the machine and after the boards are processed, stack at the back of the machine.
- Setting up machinery and equipment.
- Keeping the asset running efficiently.
- Troubleshoot & fit minor mechanical issues.
- Adhering to safety regulations.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards.
Hours of work: 38 hours per week. Monday to Friday: 6am to 2pm.
What you will bring to the team:
- Trade certificate is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and the enthusiasm to learn and develop.
- Previous operational experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and good hand skills are also considered.
