The opportunity:
Join our dynamic team at Penrith, a leading manufacturer of corrugated cardboard packaging. We are committed to delivering high-quality packaging solutions and are looking for a dedicated Operator to join our day shift team.
As an Operator, you will learn all aspects of the carton manufacturing process. Your main duties will include, but not limited to:
- Setting up machinery and equipment.
- Keeping the asset running efficiently.
- Troubleshoot & fit minor mechanical issues.
- Adhering to safety regulations.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards.
Hours of work: 38 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 6am to 2.30pm and Friday: 6am to 12pm.
What you will bring to the team:
- Trade certificate is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and good hand skills are also considered.
