The Role
The role is responsible for the Health, Safety, and wellbeing of all maintenance employees as well as ensuring compliance with all internal and external Policies and Standards. Focus on continuous development and motivation of your team will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working day shift and engaging closely with machine services, maintenance, dispatch, and scheduling, you will manager day-to-day site electrical maintenance requirements.
- You will lead a team who work on a rotating roster providing coverage 24 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, scheduling work and managing breakdowns, maintenance, and improvement projects.
- This is a hands-on position, leading from the front managing maintenance to downtime targets.
- You will be present and, on the floor, leading from the front. There is a process improvement element to this position which you will manage and oversee as well.
- You will manage consumables, purchase requirements, escalate any nonconformities, managing the workload of the electrical maintenance team.
- The position will have responsibility for oversight of safety standards, procedures and processes, planning, standards and controls, workforce planning and any technical requirements.

What you will bring to the team:
- An Electrical Trade qualifications/Electrical License
- Knowledge of AS/NZ S 3000
- Maintenance software systems experience
- Manufacturing process experience
- Knowledge and experience in safety procedures Able to read electrical schematics / drawings
- PLC experience
- VSD experience
- Previous experience managing an electrical team in a production environment.
