Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling. Over 75 years, we've grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations – predominately in Australia and New Zealand.
We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.
Duties:
- Based at our Canning Vale Depot
- Operating both our high reach and counterbalance forklift.
- Monday to Friday, AM shift (6am – 4pm) daily potential OT!
- Loading, unloading trucks and moving product around the warehouse.
- Stacking 5 high, with our camera equipped reach trucks
- Moving a mix of product; Cardboard, paper reels, packaging products, etc
- Fulltime, permanent, ongoing position (Enjoy stability!!)
- Potential to progress into dispatch coordinator role – learn from a company that prioritizes internal employees career goals
What you will bring to the team:
- A valid Forklift licence with high reach experience.
- A strong commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of load restraint laws.
