We have an opportunity for experienced Maintenance Electricians to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Smithfield. You will be part of our reliability team, supporting production of a busy plant, working permanent afternoon shift
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime
- Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines
- Assist in mechanical/electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs
- PLC experience with Siemens and or Allen Bradley
- Update and maintain data records on works carried out
- Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety
What you will bring to the team:
- AUS Recognised Trade Qualified Electrician.
- Current NSW Electrical License
- Minimum 2 years FMCG/industrial background and experience.
- PLC experience in fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
- Adhere and maintain OHS policies and procedures
