About the Opportunity
We are currently building a brand-new glass manufacturing and remanufacturing facility in Yatala between Brisbane and Gold Coast. The factory represents the large investment we have ever made, we recycle up to 200,000 tonnes of Queensland’s glass annually to produce 1 billion bottles a year. We are building the new state of the art automated plant next to our existing box factory and beverage can plants on the site. The new plant is expected to be operational in Q4 2025.

What you will do
This role is responsible for coordinating and managing the on-site and off-site logistics associated with the construction project. You will ensure that all plant and equipment is available when required for installation by controlling all aspects of the associated logistics, storage and laydown areas.
This includes:
- Be the single point of accountability within the project for all logistics matters
- Lead the ground logistics team
- Develop and implement fit for purpose operating model for the project
- Manage the on-site Laydown yards and data records to ensure accurate location recording
- Manage all material across the various holding yards
- Manage the Pick and pack of items from the Laydown yard to site
- Analyze and identify discrepancies between the manifest and actual status and action appropriately.
- Develop and maintain issue logs and project repositories of documents,
- Consolidate project status reports.
- Manage a mobile equipment and labour budget
What you will bring to the team:
- Senior Logistic/Supply chain Operational experience having worked ideally for large building projects.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations coupled with experience in sea freight and container handling
- Be highly self-motivated and resilient, assertive and not afraid to make a decision
- A continuous improvement mindset with good change management experience
- You can build strong relationships external and internal as this will be crucial to the success of this role
