Role Details:
Routes: Move pallets of glass containers from our Kilkenny Logistics site to the warehouse in Gillman. The journey begins and ends at our Kilkenny Logistics site
Hours: Permanent Full time – Afternoon shift, 4pm to 12pm - Monday to Friday
What you'll do:
- Secure Freight: Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure safe transportation.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to confirm roadworthiness and compliance.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules.
- Accurate Reporting: Complete electronic reporting systems and required documentation accurately.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow all company policies and state/national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years’ recent Australian experience driving Heavy Combination tautliner trucks in a similar role is advantageous.
- Provide a full 5-year demerit point history & Traffic SA report.
- Knowledge of the Adelaide Metro area and Mass Management TMA requirements.
- Experience using retractable & container trailers.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
