The opportunity:
We are seeking a Forklift Technician to join our Visy Logistics team based out of our Coolaroo site. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm with opportunity for overtime.
Reporting to the Service Manager at our Coolaroo Workshop, you will play a significant part in the company’s overall success by delivering quality service, performing scheduled maintenance and safety & function checks to our forklift machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical activities to repair, maintain and service our mobile machinery across our Coolaroo site.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics tasks.
- Attend to machine breakdowns and completing scheduled maintenance.
- Organising of parts and inventory and administration on scheduled works.
- Champion safety awareness and ensure all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures are complied with.
What you will bring to the team:
- Light Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Qualifications.
- Experience with service and repairs to Forklifts or mobile plant.
- Current full drivers licence essential.
- Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills.
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
- Maintain and uphold company’s safety policies and procedures.
