An opportunity within the Spotswood Plant production team for a Job Change Crew Hot End is now open and available for applications. Based at 36 Booker Street and reporting to the Hot End Job Change Coordinator directly, you will be working the day shift 7am – 3:05pm. Every Wednesday the hours are 7am – 2:05pm with an RDO every second Friday.
The Role:
Reporting to the Production Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Undertaking safety inspections, hazard identification, accident investigation, risk assessment, develop appropriate control measures and input related data
- Delivering on and off the job training and assess other employees up to the level of their competency
- Setting up & starting up and hand over the Forming machine under controlled conditions
- Cleaning of delivery equipment and associated ancillaries Maintenance of Hot End coatings start up machine and hand over under control using Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Understanding and participating in Continuous Improvement and Problem solving
