About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are seeking experienced forklift operators for our Glass division warehouse at our busy factory in West End.
The successful candidate will have a Forklift license, prior counterbalance experience, and ability to work on shift.
Roles will be fixed term for a minimum of 18 months (Potential opportunity for Permanent role at our Yatala Facility at the end of the contract)
Roster on offer: One role on afternoon shift: 2pm to 10pm
Two roles on Rotating shift: 8h rotating shift. Week off every 4 weeks
- Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading glass products
- Stacking 2 high using a single tyne forklift
- Using RF scanners and tablets
- Tending to palletiser alarms
- Ensure packaging material is supplied to the palletisers
- General Housekeeping
- OT available on occasion
- Ad Hoc duties as required
What you will bring to the team:
- A valid Forklift & Driver license
- Recent counterbalance experience essential
- Relevant experience with glass product desirable but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously and be self sufficient
- A strong commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude and be a team player
