We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Planner (Fibre Line) to join our Group Supply Chain Team, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and distribution of recycled fibre and finished paper reels across our Paper Mills.

The Opportunity
As an Operational Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective daily operational plans, ensuring the seamless manufacturing, warehousing, and supply of various paper grades. Working closely with key stakeholders, including direct Distribution Planners, you will help drive continuous improvement across supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain daily Paper Mill Production plans in line with tactical objectives and business constraints.

Oversee the supply and distribution of recycled fibre, pulp, and finished paper products.

Provide leadership, training, and support to Distribution/Warehouse Planners.

Collaborate with the Operational Planning Manager and Demand Manager to respond to changes in paper and fibre consumption.

Actively participate in daily and weekly supply and distribution review meetings.

Ensure warehouse levels are maintained within safe limits and avoid supply/storage issues.

Contribute to supply chain projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring to the Team

Experience in supply chain operations, including manufacturing, transportation, and distribution.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive optimal supply chain outcomes.

Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) and a solid understanding of the Australian market.

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for process improvement and efficiency.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
