We are currently seeking an experience HSE Manager to join our team
Role Details:
As HSE Manager, you will be a critical in driving the health, safety, and environmental initiatives across 2 sites in Ingleburn and Smithfield Recycling, initially based in Ingleburn with a flexibility to work and be based at any of the three sites. Reporting to the Plant Manager at Ingleburn, you will collaborate with site leadership teams to ensure safety standards are upheld and continuously improved and coach managers, supervisors, and employees to enhance safety culture and compliance.
What you'll do:
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE systems and practices across multiple sites.
- Support and empower operational leaders and teams to drive safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety accountability.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance, focusing on safety innovation and environmental goals.
What You Will Bring:
- HSE qualifications (Cert IV in OHS or equivalent) and experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
- A strong understanding of HSE management systems and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in leading safety initiatives and fostering a positive safety culture.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, or safety are desirable, as well as proficiency in HSE technology systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
