What You Will Do:

To support Visy Logistics growth, we’re seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor with a solid background in Fleet Management to lead a team of 9+ Drivers,  overseeing daily operations, including effective scheduling, ensuring compliance with safety and biosecurity requirements and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the State Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Leading a safety-first team of Drivers, ensuring a productive and supportive working culture,
  • Executing day-to-day operations, including driver rostering, scheduling, allocation, and supervision,
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to escalate and recover from delays or operational changes,
  • Ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR regulation,
  • Upholding high standards of vehicle presentation, maintenance planning and execution,
  • Maintaining accurate record-keeping, including PODs, audit documentation, and system data integrity,
  • Maximising fleet optimisation through strong analytical and resource planning skills,
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve existing processes and operational efficiency

What You Will Bring:

  • Transport industry experience is a must
  • Strong understanding of CoR and NHVR legislation, particularly fatigue management and mass management.
  • Proficiency in Logistics & TMS software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and data driven mindset
  • Current drivers’ license
