The opportunity:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Logistics team based at Visy Board DC, Truganina. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, on the afternoon shift. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Daily operation of forklift and counterbalance machinery.
- Dispatch goods as instructed, ensuring safe delivery of goods to our customers.
- Pallet handling including strapping, loading and unloading of palletised freight, from transport vehicles.
- Adhere with health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the yard & warehouse area.
What you will bring to the team:
As our new Forklift Driver, you will be a team player with a strong work ethic. You will have proven experience at confidently operating a forklift. You will be committed to working safely and engaging with all safety processes and procedures, along with the following:
- A current Forklift License is essential, and HR licence is a bonus.
- Minimum of 2 years forklift operating experience in manufacturing/warehouse operations
- You will have good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
- Be capable of time management and ensuring deadlines are met.
