The opportunity:
As a Finished Product Shift Co-ordinator, working in a full-time permanent role on a 4 days on / 4 days off rotating shift pattern, you’ll report to the Shift Manager, and play a key role in driving safety, efficiency and quality across the cold end of the plant.
You’ll be hands-on in building capability and ensuring the effective utilisation and co-ordination of the machinery under your control. Using your glass package production knowledge, you’ll support a dedicated production team to deliver outstanding results and continuous improvement. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operate and monitor machinery including inspection equipment, conveyor systems and palletisers.
- Support the Finished Products Department to produce and pack high quality glassware safely and efficiently.
- Lead by example to embed and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
- Maintain accurate electronic and manual production records.
- Ensure all glass packaging meets Visy Glass quality specifications and customer requirements.

What you will bring to the team:
As our Finished Product Shift Co-Ordinator, you will have minimum 7 years’ operation experience, gained within a glass packaging manufacturing environment. You’ll have an exceptional ability for quality control and defect analysis, with an ability to work under urgency and pressure while maintaining high standards. You will have excellent written and communication skills and processes a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices. Along with the following:
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating roster – 2 days/2 nights, 4 days off!
- Quality control and defect analysis- You will have good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
- Strong understanding of HSE, quality, and productivity systems.
- A hands-on, solutions-focused leadership style.
- Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
