Role Details:
Based in Smithfield and reporting to the State Sales Manager, this unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team within one of Sydney’s largest manufacturing operations. As Sales Manager, you’ll shape the strategic direction of your territory, driving sustainable growth and strengthening relationships across a diverse customer base in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly engaging environment.
• Lead, coach and support a team of 5 Sales Professionals to achieve business goals and exceed performance standards.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Build strong internal partnerships to ensure smooth product delivery and exceptional customer outcomes.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports, setting clear objectives and action plans to meet KPIs.
• Negotiate contracts, tenders and commercia terms to strengthen long-term customer relationships and maximise revenue growth.
What you will bring:
You are a passionate self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment and has the drive to use your naturally curious mind to learn and question the status quo. You will have:
• Tertiary qualification is ideal although not a prerequisite.
• Experience within a B2B industrial sales role will be pivotal in your transition and success.
• Packaging experience would be ideal, but a solid background in technically complex manufacturing sales will also be highly regarded.
• Experience working with Salesforce.com would be highly regarded and a good working knowledge of all MS Office applications is expected.
• Outstanding relationship-building skills, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
