We are currently seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our Visy Board Manufacturing team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead a production shift team responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective manufacture of corrugated packaging products.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Scheduling and Dispatch teams to drive production performance, develop team capability and champion continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

As Shift Supervisor, you will:

• Foster a strong safety culture by promoting safe work practices and ensuring employee wellbeing.
• Lead incident investigations, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Execute production plans to achieve operational targets and customer requirements.
• Maximise equipment efficiency while minimising downtime and manufacturing waste.
• Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and Visy quality standards.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members through training, performance management and workforce planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity and cost performance.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support smooth site operations.

About You

You are a proactive and people-focused leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a proven track record of delivering results through teams.

• Demonstrated leadership experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
• A strong commitment to workplace health, safety and employee wellbeing.
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve operational performance outcomes.
• Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic production environment.

Highly Regarded

The following experience will be advantageous:

• Experience within corrugated packaging, paper, board converting or related manufacturing industries.
• Experience managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance processes.
