Role Details:
You will lead growth within the Automotive vertical, driving new business and delivering revenue across Visy’s global logistics offering. This is a high-activity, high-reward sales role for someone who thrives on the hunt, brings existing customer relationships, and consistently closes deals. As a hands-on individual contributor, you will be responsible for building pipeline, winning new opportunities, and expanding key accounts across the automotive sector. Reporting to the Head of Vertical- USA, you will leverage Visy’s international network to identify, pursue, and close opportunities across both domestic and international markets.
What you'll do:
- Leverage existing customer relationships and industry networks to generate immediate and long-term business opportunities
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across the automotive sector (OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, EV and aftermarket)
- Build and grow strategic customer relationships to drive short term revenue and long-term account expansion
- Develop and actively manage a strong sales pipeline, converting opportunities into profitable revenue
- Partner with global and regional teams to deliver competitive, customer-focused logistics solutions
- Monitor market trends, automotive supply chain dynamics, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
What you will bring to the team:
- Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales within the automotive sector
- Strong existing network relationships across OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, or related automotive customers
- Demonstrated ability to bring a book of business and convert relationships into revenue
- A consistent track record of winning new business and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience selling across multimodal logistics solutions (air, ocean, supply chain, warehousing) in the United States and internationally
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
