Role details:

We’re seeking a skilled Electrician to join our West Wodonga Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating day and afternoon shift - 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm, with overtime available.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll do:

• Working alongside our mechanical team and operators to resolve any faults.
• Maintain an electrical preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and maintain productivity and waste targets.
• Perform routine electrical tests, complete planned maintenance and attend breakdowns.
• Work across a variety of components of manufacturing machinery, including AC & DC drives, PLCs and automated equipment.
• Oversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency and quality.

What you’ll bring:

• Electrical Qualifications with an Electrical Licence.
• Must have Manufacturing experience, ideally within a maintenance team.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting experience will be key.
• Experience in Automated machinery, PLC’s and Drives required.
• Knowledge of AS/NZ S 3000 and ability to read electrical schematics / drawings.
• Continuous improvement focus, looking at processes and analytics.
• Adhere, uphold and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
